- 2-1-1: Texas Health and Human Services Commission Information & Referral. A great source of information for financial assistance, volunteer opportunities, social services, etc.
- United Way Central Texas: Resources for health, education, and financial stability in Central Texas. Provides the 2-1-1 call center above.
- Local churches and religious organizations: A great source when you don’t know where to turn. You typically don’t have to be a member of the faith to receive help
